About us
Violeta and Benjamin share a common history deeply rooted in the world of Argentine tango. They met in 2014 while studying tango at the Universidad Nacional de las Artes (UNA) in Buenos Aires and at the city’s milongas.
Both bring many years of experience as dancers, teachers, and choreographers. Benjamin gained extensive stage experience early on, working as a member of the DNI Tango Company as well as with various tango companies in Buenos Aires. Collaborating with leading artists in stage tango shaped his development as a dancer, as did his intensive exploration of social tango. He learned its cultural and musical essence from experienced milongueros.
Benjamin has also developed his own dance language beyond the realm of tango. His training and stage experience in contemporary dance, as well as his work with various body and movement techniques, continue to shape his precise and body-conscious approach to tango to this day.
Violeta also combines her training in Argentine tango with a diverse career in dance. After studying tango in Buenos Aires, she completed training in contemporary dance in Berlin and works as a dancer, choreographer, and dance educator. Since 2022, she has been expanding her artistic vocabulary through high-heel dance, which she practices both as a dancer and as a teacher.
Their first intensive artistic collaboration began in November 2021. Since then, Violeta and Benjamin have been continuously developing their shared dance language. They teach together and have also been performing as a dance couple on stage since 2024.
In their collaborative work, they blend their diverse dance experiences with the musical and emotional essence of Argentine tango. Elements of contemporary dance and Violeta’s high-heel technique meet traditional tango elements and blend with precise bodywork, sensuality, and expressive movement.
The result is a unique stage language that balances elegance and dynamism, tradition and contemporary movement—driven by the special connection between two dancers who continually retell their shared story.
